This ready to hang, matted framed art piece features a coloring book image of a patterned butterfly. A dreamer and proud of it, Kathy Ahrens grew up exploring nature and imagining how each tree, leaf, or stream would look in a drawing. A self-taught illustrator, author, and mixed-media artist, Kathy would return home from hikes with her dad and immediately start creating drawings, letting her imagination turn them into "zendoodles". Every mandala and zendoodle that she creates is first drawn in pencil then outlined with an ultra fine tipped marker. Kathy currently resides in Green Bay, Wisconsin and has several collections of zendoodles published as adult coloring books. An 11x14 giclee print under acrylic in a 16x20 wood frame. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating museum quality fine art reproductions. This print is matted using antique white matting and comes in a wood frame. A clear acrylic facing is added to protect the print. The piece is fully assembled by professional framers and comes ready to hang. The antique white mat allows the image to really stand out, making it a great addition to any space.
