Another great choice to extend the longevity of your racket is adding side tape to the blade, protecting the wood in the event it is hit on the table. The Butterfly Maze Magic Blade is fantastic all-wood blade suited for players that have offensive strategies and shots in mind. Players that are just getting started could benefit from the feel and control of Butterfly Sapphira rubber. For those that have progressed a bit more and seek more speed and spin, the Sriver family of rubber would be a logical progression.
