About this product
Description
Please provide your seven-character alphanumeric premise ID number (PIN), farm name, and complete address when ordering USDA 840 tags. Allflex USDA 840 tags are compliant with USDA animal traceability requirements. 840 EID tags signify to buyers that the animals were born in the USA. On these Allflex cattle tags, a unique 15-digit ID number is stored digitally and printed on each single-use, tamper-proof half-duplex (HDX) tag. Each tag can be visually verified by looking at the printed tag ID number or be automatically verified with use of a reading device. HDX ear tags are the choice when the cattle ear tags will be read using a walk-through reader or in a packing plant because of their greater read distance. Apply Allflex EID tags with Universal Allflex Tagger (remove the clip) or Allflex Retractomatic.
